Pere Ventura is deeply rooted in the history of Cava, Spain’s flagship sparkling wine, a tradition upheld by his family for four generations in the premier Penedès region. This heritage includes a century's worth of innovation, beginning with Pere's great-grandfather, who helped produce the first traditional method sparkling wine in Spain in the late 19th century.
Determined to make his own mark—and convinced that Cava could rival the world’s greatest sparkling wines—Pere established his namesake winery in 1991 and never looked back. Founded on principles of quality and innovation, the visionary 30-year-old propelled the family tradition into the modern era with an unparalleled attention to detail in sourcing, production, and hospitality, crafting exceedingly elegant wines true to their storied sense of place.
